2. Bacon, G.W. THE LIFE AND ADMINISTRATION OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN. Presenting His Early History, Political Career, Speeches, Messages, Proclamations, Letters, etc. London: Samson Low, Son & Marston, 1865. 183 pages. This is the 1865 edition. Blue cloth covers show heavy wear to the edges of the spine. Corners are bumped. There are a few chips to the cloth at the edges of the spine. There is a crease down the middle of the spine from the text block cracking in the middle, but the binding is holding. Pages are tightly bound and complete. A few pages have soiled smudges at the edges. The front and back hinges have been repaired with archival glue. Includes a hand-colored fold-out map of the United States in nice condition. A very scarce Abraham Lincoln title. $250.00
