There are some soiled spots to the vellum, as is usually the case with this material. There is also slight warpage outward of the covers, which is also usually the case with vellum. Some wear to the edges of the spine and corners. The binding is tight and the text block is sound and tightly bound. Complete with 195 pages followed by 87 four-page plates. A large and beautiful archaeological book and an important early contribution to the field. This is a very nice copy. Note: international or expedited shipping will be quite a bit extra, as this is an extremely large and heavy book. $525.00
