Full brown leather binding with original red leather spine label intact. There is wear to the spine edges and corners, with slight bumping and rubbing. The top of the leather spine has a repaired tear. I foxing to the pages, heavier in places. The binding is tight. Overall a solid copy. Consists of 41 numbered tracts. Very scarce. $200.00

Some shelf wear to binding and rubbing to spine and corners.  Overall near very good condition. A scarce title about the Lost Ten Tribes. $88.00

3. Belcher, Joseph. The Religious Denominations in the United States: Their History, Doctrine, Government and Statistics: Philadelphia: J.E. Potter, 1864. 1024 pages. 1864 printing. Full Brown leather binding. The spine is slightly faded and there are rubbed and worn spots to the edges and panels of the spine. Pattern-stamp gold decoration and raised bands on the spine. The boards show some wear to the edges, with corners slightly bumped and slightly rubbed through. The binding is tight, with the hinges are sound. The text block is tight and square. There is light foxing to the text. Overall, an above-average copy. A large and heavy book. Includes a section on the Mormons, which is about standard-fare for the time, and not particularly fair-minded or well researched. There is a four-page woodcut illustration on page 843 entitled "City of Nauvoo" $95.00

There is scattered foxing to the text. A Mormon parallel publication. The author proposes one of the earliest published theories that many of the American Indians were descended from peoples who migrated to the Americas from Jerusalem and other areas. $225.00

Maroon cloth covers show quite a bit of shelf wear to the spine edges and corners. The corners are bumped and rubbed through, and there are some scuffed and rubbed spots to the spine and covers. The hinges have been reinforced with archival glue and the b text block is tight. The pages have some browning to the text in places. This is a very scarce publication. It combines the two titles together. The first title was initially published in 1837, while the second title was first published in this edition in 1875. $250.00

There is discoloration to the front and back covers, with half of the cover faded a bit lighter than the other half. A few small stains on the spine. The binding is tight and the pages are clean and the text block is square. This is a 1906 copyright date with AM 5641 on the title page and the triangle pointing down. $26.95

Quite a bit of shelf wear to the binding and rubbing to the spine and corners. Some fading and slight wrinkling to the cloth on the front and back covers. There is a spill stain to the edges of the front and back covers, not really affecting the text. Some of the text pages to the front the book are dogeared and have creases at the upper right corners. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. $25.00

This is a mix and match set, with publication dates from 1967 to about 1979 and ranging from third printing to 13th impression. Volume 4 is a different color of binding (blue) than the other six volumes (black). Some shelf wear to the spine edges and corners. F few small areas of discoloration and slight fading to the binding color and a few small rubbed spots on the covers. Overall in near very good. Spines clean and bright. A clean and tight set with no underlining. $265.00

There is some foxing and browning to the pages, heavier in places. A solid copy. Unusual to find in the original binding in such nice condition for this large book. $125.00

Hartford, Connecticut: Case, Tiffany and Company, 1851. 1851 printing. This is a two volume set complete. Both volumes bound in full original black leather. The spine edges, board edges, and corners all have wear. The corners are rubbed through and a couple of spots. Some scuffing and rubbed spots to the spine and several places on the covers. Former owner's name is embossed in gold in small letters on the front cover of each volume. Nice marbled endpapers and paste downs inside the covers. The text has scattered foxing, mostly light to moderate. There are some engraved illustrations in both volumes, nicely executed. Overall this is a nice solid set, with tight bindings and sound text blocks. $95.00
