1. Ames, Oakes and Donovan Stewart Correll. Orchids of Guatemala. Fieldiana.  Botany, Volume 26, Number 1 and Volume 26, Number 2. Set of 2 volumes. Chicago: Chicago Natural History Museum, 1952. Two volume set bound in softbound covers. Some wear to the edges of the spine and corners and slight browning to the top edges of the front covers. Slight bumping to the upper right-hand corners on volume 1. The bindings are tight and the pages are clean. $7.50

2. Bodley, John H. Preliminary Ethnobotany of the Peruvian Amazon. Pullman, Washington: Washington State University, 1978. 71 pages. Softbound binding shows some wear and some staining to the edges of the front and back covers. The pages are clean and tightly bound. $49.50

3. Boyle, Jesse George. VEGETABLE GROWING. Philadelphia: Lea & Febiger, 1917. 350 pages. Scarce title. Includes 154 photographic illustrations. Red cloth covers show quite a bit of wear to the spine edges and corners. Corners are rubbed and slightly bumped. Some soiling to the binding. Pages are tightly bound. The former owner has signed his name in a few places in pencil at the bottom of chapter conclusions. $15.00

Softbound covers show wear and rubbing to the spine and edges. A couple of torn spots to the paper on the spine. The pages on the bottom and the covers are bent and have creases from being folded over. Some soiling to the binding. The text is in French. An excellent reference book on therapeutic medicinal plants. $45.00

Softbound covers with stapled binding. Both front and back wrappers are removed, so the first text page is the title page. There is soiling and some staining to the edges of the covers. The final page has a portion of the page stuck to the previous page at the bottom and a small chunk missing from the paper.  $15.00

9. Leon, Jorge. PLANTAS ALIMENTICIAS ANDINAS. Lima, Peru: Instituto Interamericano de  Ciencias, 1964. 112 pages. Softbound binding shows wear, discoloration and some soiling to the covers. Former library label on the top of the front cover. There is a letter from a researcher presenting this book to a colleague. This letter is pasted inside the front cover and is quite interesting. A very scarce book of the medicinal and healing plants of the Andes region. $75.00

Softbound covers show some wear to the spine and corners. There is some soiling to the edges of the covers. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. Numerous illustrations and descriptions of medicinal plants found in the Peruvian Amazon. Text is in Spanish. $59.50
