There is some wear to the spine edges and a faint remnant of the previous owner's bookplate on the front blank endpage. The dust jacket has some wear to the eges and a few small chips, but still very presentable. Overall an above-average copy of this scarce title. $145.00

Some shelf wear to binding and rubbing to spine and corners. Some dulling to the gold title on the front cover. A few small scuff marks to the spine. $9.50

14. Raine, William MacLeod & Will C. Barnes. Cattle, Cowboys and Rangers. Grosset & Dunlap, 1930. 340 pages. Shelf wear to the spine edges and corners. A couple of small discolored spots to the covers. The dust jacket has chips and tears to the edges, with some loss of text at the top of the spine. $14.50

15. Siringo, Charles A. Riata and Spurs. Houghton Mifflin Company, 1927. 1927 revised edition. Tan cloth covers show shelf wear to the spine edges. The corners are slightly bumped and starting to wear through. The binding is square and the pages are clean and tight. B $33.00

16. Smart, Bill. From Mexico to Montreal on a Cow Pony. Fort Worth, Texas: Teague Printing, 1928. Flexible great cloth covers with embossed illustration of a bucking bronco with writer on the front cover. Quite a bit of wear to the spine edges and corners. The front and back cover. Have creases in the middle from being bent a bit too far. The front hinge was repaired by a previous owner with a hot glue gun. I was able to remove much of the heart and glue and use acid-free archival glue to repair the hinge, but there is still some residue from the ghastly repair. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. The book mixes a travelogue with cowboy poetry throughout from this Texas cowboy. $37.50

17. Sweetman, Luke D. BACK TRAILING ON OPEN RANGE. Caldwell, Idaho: The Caxton Printers, Ltd., 1951. 248 pages. Signed by the author. Shelf wear to the spine edges and corners, with the lower front corner bumped. The spine and a small portion of the lower back cover has some discoloration and fading. The dust jacket has wear to the edges and a few small tears, also a ca. 2" piece of the paper missing from the bottom of the dust jacket spine. The smaller chip at the top of the jacket and a couple of tears at the folds. Still quite presentable and very scarce in first edition dust jacket signed. $48.00

18. Wyman, Walker D. The Legend of Charlie Glass: Negro Cowboy on the Colorado-Utah Range. River Falls State University Press, 1970. Yellow softbound covers with stapled binding. Light wear to the edges. A clean and tight copy. $35.00
