Green softbound covers. There is wear and some scuffing, discoloration and fading to the covers. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. The text is in German. English translation is "THE SPANISH-AMERICAN INDIAN CONFLICT IN NORTHERN NEVADA". $20.00

3. de Torquemada, Fray Juan de. Monarquia Indiana. Set of 3 volumes in vellum. Mexico: Salvador Chavez Hayhoe, 1943. 1943 facsimile edition. Set of 3 volumes beautifully bound in vellum, with leather tie strings. The vellum has warped outward at the edges of the bindings, which is almost always the case with vellum. There are a few small rubbed or soiled spots to the edges of the vellum. One of the leather string ties is missing. Overall this has been very nicely preserved.  A beautiful facsimile reproduction of the rare and important first edition. $1250.00

Shelf wear to the spine edges and corners, with some rubbing to the corners. Faint faded spots on the bottom of the spines, but no evidence of ex-library. A clean and tight set. $65.00
