With descriptions of Japan, China and Adjacent Countries. Two volume set. Cleveland: Arthur H. Clark, 1907. 1907 first edition. Two volume set complete. Ex-library copies, with library labels on the spines and library bookplate and pockets inside the front and back covers. The bindings are tight, but there is quite a bit of shelf wear and rubbing to the spine edges and corners. Volume I has a small tear to the cloth at the bottom of the front joint. A very scarce set, originally published in this limited edition. $75.00

5. Winters, Edgar S. MA CHEUK: (ALSO CALLED "MAH JONG", "PUNG CHOW" AND "MA MUNG" ) AS PLAYED BY THE CHINESE. New York: E.P. Dutton & company, 1923. 161 pages. Second printing. Original yellow cloth covers and show some soiling and wear to edges of the corners and spine. Small frayed spot in middle of spine from small puncture to the cloth, but not serious. A couple of pages have a small tear and crease from being folded at the edges. The binding is tight. A very scarce title. $45.00
