The binding is tight. The last text page is numbered as page 64 and it's hard to tell if there there were originally more pages, but that is the last page in the book. A delightful children's activity book, with chapters on making homemade toys and diaramas, fold-out shapes and animals, and other games and activities. A very scarce and early book in this genre.  $35.00

The original Mother Goose magic glass is still present inside the back cover and in very good condition. A child has scribbled some pen marks inside the back cover. A delightful children's book, with hidden pictures with riddles in the illustrations that are illuminated by placing the Magic glass over the page to solve the riddle.  Very scarce. $150.00

Shelf wear and rubbing to the spine edges. The spine has a slight lean. The dust jacket has small chips and tears to the edges and some tape repair residue on the back panel. I removed the old acidic tape and replaced it with archival tape on the tears. The inside flaps and edges of the jacket have older masking tape reinforcement from the inside, not visible on the outside. The original owner was an elementary school teacher and read this book to her school class. She marked the pages in pencil and there's some underlining and small margin marks to about 100 pages in all. These are mostly light and scattered. The pencil marks could easily be erased, if desired, by the next owner. $150.00
